  • СУС 304: 304 stainless steel does not contain молибден (Mo), and has good resistance to oxidation corrosion, but the resistance to chloride ion corrosion is weak, so it is not suitable for seawater environment. It has excellent workability and weldability, suitable for processes such as free forging and die forging, and can be used at -196℃~800℃. It is commonly used in food processing equipment, household electrical appliances and building decoration.
  • SUS 316L: 316L stainless steel contains 2%~3% Mo, corrosion resistance and higher temperature plasticity is better than 304, suitable for complex forging parts. It's widely used in marine equipment, chemical equipment and medical equipment.

  • 6061: 6061 belongs to the 6000 series aluminum alloy, with excellent comprehensive properties and medium strength, suitable for hot forging, and can be further improved by T6 treatment.
  • 6082: 6082 has slightly higher strength than 6061, excellent corrosion resistance, and can also be used for hot forging and T6 treatment to enhance strength.
  • 6063: Aluminum 6063 has low strength, but excellent formability, and is generally suitable for cold working, where hot forging requires tight temperature control
  • 2014 (2A50): 2014 has high strength, but poor corrosion resistance, surface treatment is required,
  • 2024 (2A12): 2024 has medium to high strength (tensile strength of about 420MPa), excellent heat resistance and forging properties.
  • 7075: 7075 has the highest strength (tensile strength ≥ 570 MPa) among aluminum alloys, but it has poor corrosion resistance. Although it can be forged, it is more difficult.

Custom Forging Parts Process

1. Design and Mold Making

We design the mold according to the customer’s drawings or samples, then manufacture the mold with our in-house CNC machining center.

2. Forging Forming

HDC cuts the material and heats it to a proper temperature, then presses the blank into the mold cavity to obtain a precise shape.

3. Heat Treatment

After forging, we perform heat treatments such as annealing, quenching, and aging to eliminate stress and enhance strength.

4. Machining (Optional)

HDC employs CNC machining to correct dimensional inaccuracies from forging and heat treatment, machine precise features like threads, and ensure a smooth base for surface treatments.

5. Surface Treatment

According to requirements, HDC provides finishing treatments such as pickling, sandblasting, and anodizing to enhance the durability and aesthetics of forgings.

6. Inspect and Package

After all manufacturing processes, we inspect the product with CMM and ultrasonic flaw detection, ensuring there are no internal defects.
